Ms. Wu is the General Partner’s primary research and due diligence director. She exhibited outstanding achievements in fundamental industry research as well as entrepreneur. Ms. Wu’s experience in fundamental research includes serving as a US research analyst in San Francisco for SG Cowen Asset Management and as Director and Head of Equity Research for Salomon Smith Barney, Asia. During her tenure at Salomon, Ms. Wu was twice ranked number one among all analysts by the prestigious “Institutional Investor” magazine in 1998 and 1999, and was voted number one by Reuters for electronic sector stocks in Asia in 1998.

Since 1999, Ms. Wu has served as an independent financing adviser to emerging technology companies including Coventive Technologies (as CFO and Board Director), an embedded software company; Cardlink (as Executive Board Director), a smart-card maker; EED Inc., an enterprise software Co.; Omniva (acting CFO), an enterprise software Co.

Ms. Wu received her B.S. with honors in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology in 1985. She also studied Chinese History in Beijing University for a year as a Thomas Watson Fellow.
